Desiree Paris Chronophone (Parijs,1974) is een DJ, producer en grote liefhebber van Detroit Techno en Dub- techno. Nadat hij van 1992 tot 1996 diverse Rave Party’s organiseerde, stapte hij uiteindelijk zelf in 1996 in de DJbooth, waardoor hij vrij snel multi resident wordt in clubs van Paris tot Ibiza. Sindsdien reist de artiest door geheel Europe voor optredens. Zijn motivatie tot componeren en zijn avontuurlijke djset’s variërend van Deephouse tot,Deeptech – en Techsoul wijzen hem geleidelijk de weg naar de studio voor zijn eigen producties.
Desiree brengt in 2007 in samenwerking met jeugdvriendin Lady Lo zijn eerste release “Affirmatif” uit en in 2010 wordt zijn nieuw artistiek project Chronophone geboren. Een concept waar meer Dub-, Deeptech- and techsoul de muzikale hoofdrol innemen. Parallel werkt hij gedurende deze periode samen met Mike Anderson. Desiree’s muzikale en creatieve talent leggen de artiest geen windeieren als zijn sound in 2011 wordt opgepikt door legende Chez Damier na de release van zijn eerste album “Come To Dubby” op het Inkfish record label. Meer releases volgen van Chronophone op o.a. het beroemde New York label Night Grooves en op Streetkings waar zijn vernufte Parisienne feel uitkomt in de meer minimalistische deep, tech- track ”Voce de Sa Trincha” .
In 2012 komt Desiree’s talent nog meer onder de aandacht als hij een uitnodiging krijgt deel te nemen aan de compilatie release “Beyond the dance 4 ” van techno Godfather Derrick May, voor het historische Detroit techno label Transmat Records. Hij raakt met zijn releases,geïnspireerd door de geluiden afkomstig uit Motorcity, de harten van veel minimalistische fans, waaronder Francois K ,die zijn track “Eiffel in Love” selecteert voor zijn Masters Series Compilation op Renaissance Recordings. Tevens released Kevin Saunderson Chronophone’s remix van Mr Flic’s “Release your sun” op KMS.

Desiree Paris “Chronophone” was born in Paris in 1974. He is a DJ, producer and big fan of Detroit techno and Dubtechno. After being a promoter of Rave Party’s between 1992 and 1996, Desiree begin’s his career as a Dj in 1996 and quickly becomes a multi-resident in many clubs from Paris to Ibiza, playing through Europe continuously since 1998. The will to compose and his exciting mixes ranging from Deephouse, DeepTech and TechSoul, take him gradually to the world of studio-productions.
The artist makes his debut release “Affirmatif” in 2007, a collaboration track with long life friend Lady Lo and in July 2010, Desiree starts his new project “Chronophone”. A new artistic concept more Dubby, DeepTech and Techsoul . Parallel to this he picks up a collaboration with Mike Anderson.
Chronophone’s career takes a boost in 2011 as his sounds are picked up by legend Chez Damier, after releasing his first album ”Come to Dubby” a melodic techno and dubby opus, on Inkfish Records label. More releases are to follow on the famous New Yorker labels Nite Grooves and on Street King where his “Voce de Sa Trincha” a celestial incantation ,Minimalistic ,Deep and Tech is served with his Parisian sophisticated touch.
In Autumn, 2012, Desiree crosses an upper level by being selected by one of the founding fathers of the Techno movement Derrick May for a compilation tribute to “Beyond the Dance 4″ on Transmat Records. A great, historic Detroit label, but again in 2013 Chronophone surpasses himself in the creation of sexy atmospheres and melodies, in flavor of minimalists, influenced by his passion for the sound made in Motorcity., gaining more success with Francois K ,selecting his “Eiffel in Love” for his Masters Series Compilation on Renaissance Recordings and Kevin Saunderson decision to release Chronophone’s remix of Mr Flic’s ”Release your sun” on KMS.
